Welcome to Vegas Strip Blackjack!
Having played Blackjack in Las Vegas, I can personally tell you that reviewing Vegas Strip Blackjack at an online casino is a whole new experience. From the moment the game loaded, the sounds and graphics were remarkable. From the clanging of the slot machines in the background, to the dealer shuffling the cards, and dealing them out, to his announcing “stand” or “hit me,” the term used to deal a player a card - it was an exciting and sometimes lucrative hour of game play.
Vegas Strip Blackjack is just like any other blackjack game except you can play from one to five hands at once. It seems to this player, the more hands you play, the better chance you have at winning at least half the number of hands played. Download and Play Vegas Strip Blackjack now!
How To Play the Game
Playing Vegas Strip Blackjack is easy, user friendly, and quite realistic in terms of game play. You are sitting at a virtual table in front of five circles on the table. Also in front of you are chips in the amounts of $2, $5, $25, and $100. To play, you drag any of the chips to the circle to place your bet. There are two buttons: one is deal and the other is clear. To begin play, click on the deal button. The dealer then shuffles the cards and deals from right to left. After the cards are dealt, another 3 buttons appear: Stand, Hit, and Double. Since the object of the game is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over, you decide how many cards you think you’ll need to get to 21. So use the Hit button. On the other hand, if you are dealt a 21, you automatically win. If you have a 17 or higher, you hit the stand button. After all the hands are complete, the dealer shows his hand. If he has a 16, he has to draw a card; 17 he has to stand; 21, he beats and/or pushes. Push means the player may also have 21 and the bet is returned to the player. Call it “even Stevens,” if you will. If you beat the dealer’s hand, the payout is 1:1. However, if you get 21 and beat the dealer, the payout is 3:2. If the dealer is showing a face card or an ace, the insurance button will appear. If you decide to take out insurance in case the dealer has 21, it costs $2 and pays 2:1.
Here’s a little tip: While the player’s two cards are dealt face up, the dealer has one up and one down. If the dealer has a 6 – odds are he will bust. So you can Stand on the cards you have without going over 21.
Blackjack Symbols
There are other symbols you will come across when playing Vegas Strip Blackjack. The Double button can be used if you have two of the same cards. Example: If you have an ace and a two, or a 5 and a 3, you can hit the Double button and one card will be dealt to you. Using the Double button doubles your winnings.
Rebet button is used to bet the same amount as in the previous hand. If you decide to lower or raise your bet, hit the Clear button and place new bets for the new hand.
Split button allows you to split two cards that are the same. For instance, if you are dealt 2 aces, you can split them and you will receive one card only added to each ace. You can also split any 2 cards that are the same in value.
Bust. It’s a word we don’t like to hear in the game of blackjack, but nonetheless, it means you are over 21 and lose your bet.
Vegas Strip Blackjack is Fun!
“21” or Blackjack is a game of skill, luck, and knowledge. Many blackjack players will tell you to stand on any combination of 12 or higher. But sometimes, your instincts kick in and you may ask for another card. Personally, I stand on cards totaling 14 or higher especially if the dealer has a 6 showing; then I am confident he will bust.
The best way to determine how to best play the game is to practice, practice, and practice. Any of the flash casinos offer you the opportunity to practice Vegas Strip Blackjack. Once you become familiar with the game and its symbols, try it for real money! It requires a lot of patience but, in the end, it can yield a lot of money.
